File Supply Requirements
Bleed
Bleed refers to the zone outside of the trim line. Elements such as block colour or images that touch the edge of the artwork need to extend into the bleed area, past the trim line where the product will be cut.
Trim
The trim line is where the product will be cut down to its finished size. Everything outside of the trim line and within the bleed area will be removed from the final printed product.
Quiet Zone
The quiet zone or safe zone, is an area within the trim line where no important text or images should be placed. This is because it’s so close to the trim line it may end up being cut off. A 5mm margin will be safe!
File Types
Supplied artwork should be 300dpi resolution .PDF format where possible. (PDF/x-1a:2001 is ideal).We can accept .eps and high resolution .jpg but file checking fees may apply.
